Visa Cash App RB unveil glitter-themed livery for Las Vegas Grand Prix

Visa Cash App RB has unveiled a striking glitter-themed livery for the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix, showcasing a design that embodies the vibrant spirit of the city.

The special one-off livery inspired by the Cash App Visa Glitter Card features a captivating blue and green gradient adorned with a dazzling glitter overlay.

The announcement was made on November 20, 2024, through a social media video featuring actors Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara from the popular show “Entourage.” This creative collaboration aims to resonate with the lively atmosphere at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, as the city is known for its glitz and glamour.

The glitter-themed livery is not just a visual treat; it represents a significant moment in Visa Cash App RB’s history. Team CEO Peter Bayer noted that the event holds special significance as it marks the launch of VCARB earlier in the year, showcasing how partnerships can lead to innovative and eye-catching designs that disrupt traditional F1 aesthetics.

“It wouldn’t be Las Vegas without a touch of glitter, and as the home of glitz, it only felt right to bring this livery to the Las Vegas race,” Bayer said. “It holds a special place in the team’s history as it’s where we launched VCARB earlier this year.

“Since then, creative collaboration with our partners has led to outstanding liveries beyond the norm, allowing us to disrupt the way we do things in F1, as we’ve seen in Miami and Singapore.

“I look forward to seeing the VCARBOI shimmering under the lights on track.”

Cash App CMO Catherine Ferdon added: “With our co-title sponsorship of VCARB, we aim to bring the magic of Formula I to more people and make the sport more accessible.

“This digital-first livery reveal, inspired by our own Cash App Glitter Card, is another example of Cash App’s differentiated approach to connecting with customers.

“We look to bridge the gap between diverse audiences, open pathways to fans and connect people through experiences that are unlike anything else out there.”

Visa Cash App RB’s race suits and garage will also feature this eye-catching design, ensuring that every aspect of their presence at the Las Vegas Grand Prix is cohesive and visually stunning.

This approach aligns with the team’s strategy of creating memorable experiences for fans and spectators alike, further bridging the gap between motorsport and entertainment.

The collaboration with Cash App and Visa highlights how sponsorships can evolve beyond traditional branding into more interactive and engaging experiences for fans.

As Formula 1 continues to expand its global reach, events like the Las Vegas Grand Prix play a crucial role in attracting diverse audiences. The vibrant nature of the city provides an ideal backdrop for such initiatives, allowing teams to showcase their creativity while engaging with fans in innovative ways.

Visa Cash App RB joins other teams like Alpine and Stake, who have also unveiled special designs for this event. Alpine has reverted to its signature all-pink color scheme, while Stake has introduced its flame-themed design for the occasion.

This trend reflects a growing emphasis on creativity within Formula 1, as teams seek to differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive environment.

The new livery is expected to be a focal point during race weekend as Visa Cash App RB continues its pursuit of points in the Constructors’ Championship. Currently sitting in eighth place, just five points behind Alpine, every point counts as they strive to improve their standings before the season concludes.
