The No. 56 car holds special significance for Truex, as it mirrors the number he drove during his tenure at Michael Waltrip Racing from 2010 to 2013. During that period, he achieved significant milestones, including his second career victory in 2013.
However, after NAPA Auto Parts withdrew its sponsorship due to controversy surrounding race manipulation, Truex found himself without a ride until joining Front Row Motorsports.
