Ted Kravitz confirmed that he will not be participating in Sky Sports’ Formula 1 coverage of the Spanish Grand Prix as he will be away on holiday during the race weekend.
For more than ten years, Sky Sports’ beloved pit lane reporter Kravitz has played a crucial role in covering the sport for the UK broadcaster. Particularly, his own piece, “Ted’s Notebook,” has become an integral component of Sky’s coverage of the F1 weekend.
Kravitz, however, has stated that he will be away for the race in Barcelona, so fans won’t be able to enjoy his zany observations during the Spanish Grand Prix.
“I’m not in Barcelona,” Kravitz said. “I will be going on a long boat holiday on the Grand Union Canal, so the notebook will return at the Canadian Grand Prix.”
With Ted’s absence, the rest of the usual Sky broadcasting team is anticipated to be in action, keeping fans updated on the race as it happens with people like Martin Brundle, David Croft, Karun Chandhok, Anthony Davidson, Naomi Schiff, and others.
Max Verstappen will be looking to build on his victory in Monaco last weekend by adding another victory to his tally of victories this season in Spain.
Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez trails the Dutchman by 39 points in second place, and Fernando Alonso is 12 points back in third place thanks to the astonishing Aston Martin performance.
