The agreement that would have seen Porsche acquire 50% of the Red Bull team has been ruled out, according to the team’s advisor Dr. Helmut Marko.
Red Bull and Porsche’s long-rumored Formula 1 alliance is apparently having some issues.
Porsche has officially announced its 2023 911 GT3 R, which will soon compete at GT3-compliant international motorsports competitions like the IMSA series, FIA WEC World Endurance Championship, and 24-Hour Le Mans in 2024.
Porsche could be in for another challenging Le Mans 24 Hours based on the Balance of Performance in the GTE Pro class.
According to Volkswagen Group CEO Herbert Diess, Porsche and Audi, the big brands of the Volkswagen Group, will enter Formula 1 in 2026.
