Maximilian Günther got off to a strong start in this weekend’s double-header Jakarta E-Prix, topping Free Practice 1 in a Maserati MSG Racing 1-2 finish at the tenth round of the 2022–23 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Maximilian Guenther is expected to replace Nyck de Vries at the redesigned Maserati MSG team after the 2021 Formula E world champion’s confirmation at AlphaTauri earlier this month.
As the first Italian brand to enter Formula E from 2023, Maserati is not discounting a return to the pinnacle of the sport.
