Proton Competition has officially revealed its Ford LMGT3 driver lineups and liveries ahead of the 2025 WEC.

The announcement confirms a largely revamped roster for its two Mustang GT3 entries with a blend of returning talent and new faces, signaling its intent to compete at the highest level of endurance racing.

This marks Proton Competition’s second full season in partnership with Ford, following a debut campaign in 2024 that included a podium finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and consistent performances across the championship.

The #77 Ford LMGT3 driver lineup will feature an experienced trio comprising Ben Barker, Ben Tuck, and Bernardo Sousa.

Barker who is a factory driver and veteran of endurance racing will joined by British Silver-rated racer Ben Tuck, who competed in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) last year with a Ferrari 296 GT3 and previously raced with Proton Competition at Le Mans in 2024.

Meanwhile Portuguese driver Bernardo Sousa completes the #77 lineup. A former rally champion, Sousa returned to circuit racing in the 2024 Iberian Supercars Series after more than a decade away from GT competition.

The #88 Proton Competition Ford LMGT3 driver lineup will feature Dennis Olsen, Stefano Gattuso, and Giammarco Levorato.

Factory driver and Rolex 24 at Daytona class winner Olsen is returning for his second season with the team and he will be joined by Italian racer Stefano Gattuso, who brings extensive experience from the Italian GT Championship and international events like the Spa 24 Hours.

The third member of the #88 crew is Giammarco Levorato, another Italian driver who has been part of Proton Competition’s journey in recent years. Levorato was a runner-up in the European Le Mans Series’ LMGTE division in 2023 and also competed with Proton’s Ford Mustang at last year’s WEC finale in Bahrain.

For 2025 FIA WEC, both cars will feature striking new liveries that reflect Ford’s iconic red, white, and blue color scheme.

The #77 car will sport a predominantly white design, while the #88 will adopt a dark blue theme. The updated liveries symbolize not only Ford’s heritage but also its commitment to success in global motorsport.

The team’s performance underscores the competitiveness of the Ford Mustang GT3 platform, which has quickly established itself as a formidable contender in endurance racing.

The 2025 season begins on February 21-22 with the traditional pre-season Prologue test at Lusail International Circuit followed by the Qatar 1812km race on February 28 at the same venue.
