Alpine officially confirmed its involvement as Pramac Yamaha’s new partner for the 2025 MotoGP season.

The landmark collaboration marks a significant milestone for both the French automotive manufacturer and the Italian racing team, promising to reshape the competitive landscape of motorcycle racing.

The announcement of Pramac Yamaha’s new partner comes in the wake of a remarkable 2024 MotoGP championship success, where Jorge Martin clinched the MotoGP title—a historic achievement for a satellite team.

The breakthrough victory sets the stage for an exciting new chapter in the team’s competitive journey, with Alpine bringing its prestigious automotive expertise and racing pedigree to the MotoGP arena.

Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP Team Principal Paolo Campinoti expressed profound excitement about the collaboration, highlighting its unprecedented nature.

“This is the first time a manufacturer present in the world’s premier racing series has made such an important entry into MotoGP and the fact that it has chosen Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP to do so is proof of what we have built over these years,” Campinoti stated.

“Pramac Racing and Alpine are two realities that live competition in a dynamic, fresh and enthusiastic way, united by a passion for challenges.”

Alpine’s Director of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience Antonino Labate further highlighted the alliance aims to create unique experiences for motorsport enthusiasts.

“Alpine and Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP share common values and, more importantly, the same spirit—the passion for performance,” Labate explained.

The connection between Alpine and Pramac is further strengthened by the personal relationship between Paolo Campinoti and Luca de Meo, head of the Renault Group which owns Alpine, who brings a wealth of experience from previous automotive-racing collaborations.

His previous leadership at Fiat where he initiated the Yamaha MotoGP team partnership from 2007 to 2010 provides a strategic backdrop to this new venture.

Pramac Yamaha’s new partnership also arrives at a transformative moment for the outfit which transitioned from Ducati to Yamaha for the 2025 MotoGP season.

The team will field an exciting rider lineup featuring Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller, promising a dynamic and competitive season ahead. The partnership with Alpine adds another layer of intrigue and potential to their racing prospects.

Fans and motorsport enthusiasts can anticipate a comprehensive reveal of the new team livery and partnership details on January 31st, a date that promises to showcase the visual and strategic integration of Alpine into the Pramac Racing team.

The launch event will be broadcast live through the team’s official website ahead of 2025 MotoGP pre-season testing at Sepang from February 5 – 7.
