Full 2025 Qatar MotoGP FP2 Results – Marc Marquez emerged as the standout performer in Saturday’s practice, leading his younger brother Alex Marquez in a thrilling display of skill and precision.

The final practice, held at the Lusail International Circuit, was marked by high-speed laps, strategic maneuvers, and a relentless pursuit to secure optimal positions ahead of qualifying and race day.

Marc Marquez demonstrated his mastery of the GP25 Ducati by setting consistently fast lap times throughout 2025 Qatar MotoGP FP2. His ability to adapt to the challenging conditions of the Lusail circuit was evident in his several saves as he pushed the limits of his machine.

Using his experience and tactical acumen, Marc capitalized on every opportunity to refine his setup and maximize his performance. His dominance in FP2 solidified his position as a formidable contender for pole position and further cemented his reputation as one of MotoGP’s greatest riders.

Alex Marquez, riding for BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP on the GP24 Ducati, showcased his own prowess by closely following his brother’s lead. Alex demonstrated exceptional cornering speed and acceleration, keeping Marc within striking distance throughout the session.

The sibling rivalry added an intriguing dynamic to FP2, with Alex proving that he is more than capable of competing at the highest level.

Fabio Quartararo also made a strong impression during FP2 aboard his Monster Energy Yamaha YZR-M1. The French rider displayed resilience and determination as he worked tirelessly to extract maximum performance from his machine.

Quartararo’s efforts paid off as he secured competitive lap times that positioned him among the frontrunners. His focus on optimizing tire grip and balancing speed with stability was evident, making him a key player in the battle for podium finishes.

Meanwhile Johann Zarco took the fourth fastest time for Castrol Honda LCR ahead of Pedro Acosta and Maverick Viñales riding for Red Bull KTM and Tech3 respectively.

Fermin Aldeguer was seventh fastest on the sister BK8 Gresini Racing GP24 Ducati after an impressive showing with his aggressive yet controlled riding during 2025 Qatar MotoGP FP2.

Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing RS-GP25), Ai Ogura (Trackhouse Aprilia RS-GP25) and Alex Rins (Monster Yamaha YZR-M1) rounded out the top ten.

Pecco Bagnaia finished down in 11th but remained committed to improving his performance aboard the GP25 Ducati Lenovo Team machine. Despite encountering difficulties in finding optimal grip and stability, Bagnaia displayed resilience by focusing on refining his setup for upcoming sessions.

The session also saw Franco Morbidelli struggle despite dominating Friday’s practice at Lusail. The Pertamina Enduro VR46 rider took the 12th fastest lap ahead of teammate Fabio Di Giannantonio who also struggled to make ground in final practice.

KTM’s Brad Binder finished 14th ahead of Honda’s Luca Marini in 15th as Jorge Martin ended his 2025 Qatar MotoGP FP2 in 16th. Joan Mir finished practice in 17th for the factory Honda outfit, with Raul Fernandez 18th for Trackhouse.

Enea Bastianini concluded the session in 19th for Tech3 KTM ahead of Jack Miller in 20th, who was narrowly ahead of team-mate Augusto Fernandez in 21st. Rookie Somkiat Chantra completed the standings in 22nd.
