Check out the full provisional 24 Hours of Le Mans entry list 2025 featuring a lineup of 62 cars which will race in the French endurance classic.
As the fourth round of the 2025 FIA WEC season, the 93rd edition of race will once again serve as a pinnacle of endurance racing, attracting top manufacturers, seasoned teams, and debutants alike.
Scheduled to take place on June 14-15, 2025, at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe, the FIA has released provisional Le Mans entry list 2025 featuring a full grid of 62 cars across three competitive classes: Hypercar, LMP2, and LMGT3.
The Hypercar category leads the charge with 21 entries from eight manufacturers, underscoring its position as the premier class in the World Endurance Championship.
Among these are returning giants like Toyota Gazoo Racing, Porsche Penske Motorsport, and Ferrari AF Corse. Ferrari is particularly notable as it aims for a third consecutive victory at Le Mans following its dominant performances in 2023 and 2024.
The Italian marque’s trio of 499P prototypes recently swept the podium at the WEC season opener in Qatar, signaling strong form heading into the June classic.
Aston Martin’s return to the top class with its Valkyrie Hypercars is another highlight in the provisional Le Mans entry list 2025. The British manufacturer last competed in endurance racing’s highest echelon in 2011 and now fields two V12-powered Valkyries under its Thor Team banner.

Cadillac also makes a huge feature with four entries: two from IMSA stalwarts Wayne Taylor Racing and Action Express Racing, and two more from Hertz Team JOTA. Porsche matches Cadillac’s presence with four 963s, including three factory cars and one from Proton Competition.
The Hypercar field also includes entries from BMW M Team WRT, Alpine Endurance Team, Peugeot TotalEnergies, and Toyota Gazoo Racing. Notably absent is a third BMW M Hybrid V8 from Team RLL, which opted out due to logistical challenges despite earlier considerations.
The LMP2 class continues to thrive with 17 entries in the provisional Le Mans entry list 2025—an increase from last year’s 15—despite its absence from the WEC since 2023.
This category features Gibson-powered Oreca 07 prototypes exclusively and includes nine Pro/Am sub-class entries. Teams like United Autosports, Inter Europol Competition, Algarve Pro Racing, and IDEC Sport are fielding multiple cars.

In contrast to LMP2’s steady growth, some long-standing teams like DKR Engineering and Duqueine Team were notably excluded from this year’s grid due to intense competition for limited slots.
However, automatic invitations earned through success in series like the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and Asian Le Mans Series ensured participation for teams such as RLR M Sport and AF Corse.
The LMGT3 category boasts the largest field with 24 entries in the provisional Le Mans entry list 2025 – representing nine manufacturers. Ferrari leads this class with five 296 LMGT3 machines entered by teams like Kessel Racing and Richard Mille AF Corse.
Other manufacturers include Aston Martin, Ford, McLaren, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes-AMG, Corvette, and Porsche. Notable additions include a third Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo from Iron Lynx and a third Porsche 911 GT3 R run by Manthey Racing following their successes in regional series.

The selection process for this year’s grid was particularly competitive due to overwhelming interest from teams worldwide.
With only 62 available slots but over 75 applications submitted to the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), several deserving teams were relegated to a reserve list. This includes Proton Competition’s Hypercar entry as well as Ferrari LMGT3s from GR Racing and JMW Motorsport.
The six reserve cars also feature three LMP2 entries from DKR Engineering, Duqueine Team, and Vector Sport—all ready to step in should any confirmed participants withdraw before race week.
