KTM has unveiled the look with which its two teams will contest the 2022 MotoGP season.
In an online launch on Thursday morning, both the factory and Tech3 KTM teams announced their respective war colors for the 2022 MotoGP season, which are substantially unaltered.
The Austrian outfit revealed a livery for its 2022 RC16 in a short YouTube video, featuring Red Bull as the principal sponsor once again, a paint scheme that is nearly identical to the one it has used since entering MotoGP in 2017.
In the meantime, KTM satellite team Tech 3 made an appearance at the launch, wearing the same livery it wore last season, this time with a fresh set of numbers for its new pilots, and utilizing KTM’s bright orange corporate colors once more.
Remy Gardner, the 2021 Moto2 champion, will make his MotoGP debut with Tech3 KTM alongside intermediate class rival Raul Fernandez, while the factory team will continue to field multi-time MotoGP race winners Miguel Oliveira and Brad Binder.
This comes as the Shakedown Test, which is open to Tech3 rookies and KTM test riders, takes place in Sepang from January 31 to February 2.
The first Official Test of 2022 will be held on February 5-6 at the Malaysian Grand Prix venue.
