Jakarta Formula E circuit is 80% complete

The Jakarta Formula E circuit is currently being built, and it is said to be 80 percent complete ahead of the June 4 race.

The Formula E circuit, which is currently being built in Jakarta’s Ancol district, is said to be 80 percent complete ahead of the race schedule, which is set for June 4, 2022.

Jakarta deputy governor Ahmad Riza Patria stated this, as well as the completion of track resurfacing.

“The asphalt of the 2.4 kilometer track has been paved and the next step is to plant the grasses along the track,” said Ahmad Riza as quoted by Antara News.

Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), a state-owned developer, earlier stated that the project will achieve its timetable and be completed by the end of the month.

The overall cost to build the track approaches Rp60 billion, according to Ari Wibowo of Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama, who is in charge of the Formula E construction development. The track is expected to be completed in 54 days, as indicated in the contract.

“The [difficult] fifth zone accounted for 40% of the total construction. This is the most difficult and energy-intensive zone to work in “As the fifth zone of the track stands above soft ground, he remarked.
