Hendrick Motorsports reveals new NAPA color scheme for Chase Elliott

Hendrick Motorsports and NAPA Auto Parts officially revealed the newly designed color scheme that Chase Elliott will sport on his No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series.

Hendrick Motorsports and longtime sponsor NAPA Auto Parts unveiled the newly designed No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro, which Chase Elliott will drive for the better part of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season on Tuesday.

NAPA Auto Parts has been Elliott’s primary sponsor in the NASCAR National Series for 11 seasons running, starting with his rookie season in the Xfinity Series, where he won the championship for JR Motorsports.

The NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet will have a predominantly blue base design for the first time since 2017. Smaller white and yellow accents will be strewn across the side of the Hendrick Motorsports car.

NAPA and Elliott came up with a very innovative color scheme. It appears more akin to the appearance he sported when competing in the Xfinity Series as well as making his Cup Series debut in the No. 24 Chevrolet.

Hendrick Motorsports and NAPA Auto Parts signed a contract extension in 2022, which meant that Chase Elliott’s No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro would race in 26 NASCAR Cup Series events each year with the NAPA Auto Parts branding. He has a contract that requires him to work with the organization up to 2027.

Elliott will aim to regain his standing as one of NASCAR’s best talents in the upcoming season, despite the fact that 2023 wasn’t the best year for the Hendrick Motorsports star.

Even though his previous design produced a championship, a switch to the No. 9 was long overdue. The early reaction to the news indicates that fans have been waiting for it and that it has apparently gone over quite well.

Elliott looks forward to a season of redemption after the Hendrick Motorsports driver had a terrible 2023, but he is back on track for the upcoming season.

Healing his shoulder has been one of his efforts and he gave an update on his shoulder surgery recuperation ahead of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series.

“Thus far everything has gone really well,” Elliott revealed, via Fox’s Bob Pockrass. “The way I see things today, I don’t think there is anything that would make me think that next year would be compromised at the beginning of the season, including the Clash.”
