Haas drivers wish Guenther steiner happy birthday with 'cheeky' messages

To celebrate Guenther Steiner’s birthday, Haas drivers Kevin Magnussen, Nico Hulkenberg and team’s reserve Pietro Fittipaldi sent him a combined albeit a bit sweary message.

The Italian, who celebrated his 58th birthday on Friday, has been the American squad’s team principal since 2014, and for six of those years, he has collaborated with Magnussen twice.

Magnussen was the only driver who the Haas social media staff didn’t need to censor, and his message was also the shortest of the three.

“Happy birthday Guenther! Have a great day, happy birthday,” the Danish driver sent his wishes.

The grandson of two-time Formula 1 world winner Emerson Fittipaldi, Pietro Fittipaldi, was more witty in his speech.

“Guenther, my man! Happy, happy birthday, you’re an absolute legend, you’re an amazing team boss,” the Haas reserve driver said.

“You deserve a fantastic birthday, I hope you’re spending the time with your family and we’ll see you very very soon. Happy ******* birthday, you’re a legend my friend.”

The video ended with Hulkenberg, the only driver of the three who hasn’t worked with Steiner in a while, making a sheepish acknowledgment of his own censored F-bomb.

“Happy ******* bloody birthday Guenther! I don’t know how old you are, but you still look fabulous and I look forward to many more swearing conversations with you. Happy birthday!”
