Full 2025 MotoGP calendar confirmed

The series organisers have officially confirmed the full 2025 MotoGP calendar featuring several changes including new Grand Prix events.

The upcoming season will feature an impressive lineup of 22 races across 18 countries, spanning five continents as the extensive schedule underscores the championship’s commitment to delivering high-octane entertainment to fans around the world.

The 2025 MotoGP season is set to kick off on March 2 in Thailand at the Chang International Circuit, Buriram marking the first time in 25 years that Southeast Asia will host the opening race of the MotoGP season.

Following this historic start, riders will travel to Argentina for the second round at Termas de Río Hondo on March 16, and then to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on March 30. April will see the championship return to Qatar, with the race scheduled at Lusail International Circuit on April 13.

The European leg of the season begins shortly thereafter with the Spanish Grand Prix taking place at Circuito de Jerez on April 27. This early start in Europe sets the stage for a series of exciting races throughout May, including stops at Le Mans in France on May 11 and Silverstone in Great Britain on May 25.

As summer approaches, MotoGP will continue its journey through Europe with races at iconic circuits including Motorland Aragón on June 8 and Mugello in Italy on June 22.

The TT Circuit Assen will host its race on June 29, followed by a visit to Sachsenring in Germany on July 13 and Automotodrom Brno in Czech Republic on July 20. The latter marks a welcome return to this historic venue after a brief hiatus.

August promises to be an exciting month as well, featuring a new addition to the calendar: Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary which will host its inaugural MotoGP event on August 24. The European segment of the season wraps up with races at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Catalonia on September 7 and Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in San Marino on September 14.

The championship then heads back to Asia with a race at Mobility Resort Motegi in Japan on September 28, followed by Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia on October 5. After a brief interlude, riders will head Down Under for the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island on October 19, and then to Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on October 26.

The season’s finale takes place in Europe once again, beginning with the Portuguese Grand Prix at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve on November 9 and culminating with the traditional closing race at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on November 16.
