Max Verstappen extended his lead in the 2024 F1 Driver Standings over McLaren driver Lando Norris to 69 points who leapfrogged Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in second. Leclerc is just two points adrift of Norris with Carlos Sainz fourth.

Meanwhile in the 2024 F1 Constructor Standings, Red Bull‘s lead over Ferrari grew to 60 points in Barcelona, despite Perez only finishing eighth. McLaren in third trail the Scuderia by 33 points, and have an 86-point gap to Mercedes, with the Silver Arrows in fourth, ahead of Aston Martin.
