In the Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship, Lando Norris remains at the top with 62 points after finishing second in Japan. However, his lead has been reduced to a razor-thin margin of just one point as Max Verstappen’s victory brought him up to 61 points.

Norris’s McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri holds third place in the F1 championship standings 2025 with 49 points. Mercedes’ George Russell occupies fourth place with 45 points after a solid start to the season while his teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli rounds out the top five with 30 points.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc moved up to sixth place with 20 points following a commendable drive to fourth place at the Japanese Grand Prix. His teammate Lewis Hamilton sits eighth with 15 points highlighting Ferrari’s struggles to compete with the top teams this season.

Turning to the Constructors’ Championship, McLaren leads the way with an impressive 111 points after three rounds. The team’s strong performances from both Norris and Piastri have given them a commanding lead over Mercedes, which sits second with 75 points.

Red Bull sits third in the F1 championship standings 2025 with 61 points, all of which have been scored by Verstappen while Ferrari is fourth with 35 points after gaining ground on its rivals at Suzuka.
