New F1 Championship Standings 2025 (Drivers’ and Constructors’) after Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix.
Lando Norris remains at the top of the Drivers’ standings after his third place finish in Bahrain increased his lead to 77 points, maintaining his position as the frontrunner in the championship.
However, his closest challenger is now his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri who trails by just three points with 74 in the F1 Championship Standings 2025. Piastri’s flawless drive from pole position to victory showcased his growing confidence and ability to challenge for the title.
Defending four-time World Champion Max Verstappen has dropped to third after a challenging weekend for Red Bull Racing. Technical issues and a slow pit stop hampered Verstappen’s performance, relegating him to sixth place in Bahrain Grand Prix, leaving him with 69 points—eight points behind Norris.
George Russell continues to impress for Mercedes, securing second place in the race despite facing scrutiny over a DRS flap incident during the race. His consistent performances have earned him 63 points, placing him fourth in the standings.
Meanwhile, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc rounds out the top five with 35 points ahead of Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli, who has accumulated 30 points thus far.
Lewis Hamilton finished fifth in Bahrain—his best result for Ferrari this season outside of a sprint win in China—but remains seventh with 25 points.

The Constructors’ standings further underscore McLaren’s dominance this season. With 151 points, the Woking based outfit has extended its lead over Mercedes to an impressive 58-point margin.
Mercedes sits second in the F1 Championship Standings 2025 with 93 points ahead of Red Bull Racing in third with 71 points and Ferrari in fourth with 57 points.
Haas F1 follows closely behind with 20 points while Williams Racing has made strides this season and currently sits sixth with 19 points.
Further down the order, Aston Martin continues to struggle with just 10 points to take seventh while Racing Bulls sit eighth with 7 points. Alpine and Stake round out the field with six points each.
