Ducati Lenovo Team has revealed the livery that Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia will race with in the 2022 MotoGP season.
There will be only subtle changes to paintwork on the factory’s entry-Desmosedicis this year, compared to last year’s look.
Ducati has revealed a sneak peak at its 2022 race livery after being forced to postpone its planned MotoGP team unveiling due to a positive Covid test preventing Jack Miller from leaving his home in Australia.
Ducati had planned a virtual presentation for Friday (January 28), but Miller’s travel issues prevented the official photoshoot from taking place in Italy before the forthcoming Sepang test. As a result, Ducati’s team launch has been pushed back to February 7, in the middle of the Sepang and Mandalika testing.
As a prelude to the Sepang Shakedown – at which factory rider Michele Pirro is set to take part – Ducati has released this ‘teaser’ video, revealing the blue and black livery for the 2022 model that will hit the track during the official test on February 5-6.
Last season, Francesco Bagnaia finished second in the MotoGP standings after winning four races. On his way to fourth place in the world championship, Miller won two races, while rookie Jorge Martin made history by becoming the first satellite Ducati rider to win on the Pramac machine.
