Celebrity NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin and longtime girlfriend Jordan Fish announced their engagement on New Year’s Day, having been together for years and having two kids together.
The couple announced the news on Instagram on Monday. Hamlin is on holiday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with his family.
Additionally, Fish managed to make a brief swipe at her future spouse in the Instagram post that confirmed the news.
Denny Hamlin has made countless attempts to take home a championship. He has lost close ones and, in retrospect, may have had a couple that were rightfully his.
He’s finished in the top five every season for the past five seasons, second in 2010 and third in 2006 and 2014, coming just short of capturing the Cup Series title on several occasions.
In 2023, Hamlin came dangerously close to achieving the regular season championship and making it to the Championship 4. He simply let go of the regular season and was eliminated from the Championship 4 following two subpar races in the Round of 8.
Although Hamlin is certain that he will race in the Daytona 500 this year, his participation in the Busch Light Clash is uncertain. He might miss the exhibition, depending on how quickly his shoulder heals and how much pain he can take.
