Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA has officially unveiled its vibrant new livery for the 2025 FIA WEC during a high-profile event held at Cadillac City Paris.
This marks a significant moment as it represents the first season of the factory partnership between Cadillac Racing and JOTA, a collaboration that aims to make a substantial impact in the world of endurance racing.
The Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA livery unveiling took place at Cadillac City Paris, an innovative flagship store dedicated to electric vehicles, where fans and media alike were treated to a first look at the vibrant design that will adorn the cars throughout the 2025 FIA WEC season.
The event was attended by key figures from both organizations, along with distinguished guests from the motorsport community, highlighting the importance of this partnership.
The new Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA livery retains elements reminiscent of JOTA’s previous designs – when the team used customer Porsche 963s – while introducing fresh aesthetics that align with Cadillac’s brand identity.
The dominant colours feature a striking gold base complemented by bold red accents, creating an eye-catching design that is expected to stand out on the track. This aesthetic choice reflects the heritage of Cadillac and innovative spirit of both brands as they embark on the new journey together.
The full team name, Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, emphasizes the ongoing sponsorship from Hertz, which continues to play a pivotal role in this partnership.
At the event, Pere Brugal, managing director and president of GM Europe, highlighted how the new partnership exemplifies a shared vision for innovation in motorsport while also emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving success on and off the track.
“The unveiling of the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R livery here at our iconic flagship in Paris reflects Cadillac’s unwavering commitment to innovation and performance on the global stage,“ Brugal said.
“As we expand our footprint in Europe, this partnership represents a powerful opportunity to showcase Cadillac’s pioneering spirit in one of the most prestigious racing championships in the world.
“We are proud to work alongside JOTA Sport and Hertz to bring our V-Series.R to life and look forward to an exciting season ahead.”
JOTA co-founder David Clark expressed pride in presenting the new livery and emphasized the hard work that has gone into creating the remarkable racing machine.
“The unveiling of the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R livery today is the culmination of an enormous amount of hard work and commitment on all sides of this new motorsport family,“ Clark said.
“This moment represents more than our aesthetic for the year ahead, it represents the next step for both race-winning, record setting brands within the FIA World Endurance Championship.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Hertz for being incredible partners to us on this journey and to show our gratitude to GM/Cadillac for having the belief in us, not just in our ability to perform but also for their trust in the level that we are going to represent one of their most prestigious brands on a global stage.
“We can’t wait to see what we can do together this year!”
The excitement surrounding the new collaboration is palpable as both teams prepare for what promises to be an exhilarating season ahead.
Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA will field two factory Cadillac V-Series.R cars for the 2025 FIA WEC season, designated as #12 and #38. The driver lineup is impressive and includes renowned names such as Jenson Button, Sebastien Bourdais, Will Stevens, Norman Nato, Earl Bamber, and Alex Lynn.
All six drivers have had experience with Cadillac machinery during private testing sessions at Paul Ricard, which bodes well for their performance in upcoming races. Their combined expertise and skill set are expected to boost the team’s competitiveness as they take on formidable rivals in endurance racing.
The 2025 FIA WEC season is set to kick off with the 1812km Qatar race at Losail International Circuit on February 28. The race will serve as a critical test for the team as they aim to establish themselves within a highly competitive field that includes established teams like Toyota Gazoo Racing and Ferrari.
