Alpine drops a hint at its 2024 livery with an image tease

The Alpine F1 Team dropped an intriguing hint about its 2024 livery with its most recent social media tease, ahead of its official launch on February 7.

Formula 1 is anxiously awaiting the 2024 challengers launches, particularly Alpine, after the team revealed a sneak peek into their car’s design. The French team, which is renowned for its daring colour options, suggested that a part of its car will be pink for the upcoming campaign.

Alpine is no stranger to a pink car—or even one that is all pink as a result of its partnership with water giant BWT, but the images released indicate the Enstone-based team is taking it a step further.

Alpine sported an all-pink livery for the first three races of the 2022 and 2023 seasons after their title sponsors, BWT, took the colour as a trademark, carrying it over from their previous partnership with Racing Point.

Pink was featured as a secondary colour on the A522 and A523 after Alpine had its livery reverted to a primarily blue hue. However, a new teaser for Alpine’s 2024 livery indicates that pink will be back, maybe even more prominently, this time round.

There has been conjecture on the exact measure of pink in the new livery according to the teaser image, which shows what looks to be a pink front wing.

According to the post, Alpine may have doubled down on its statement on Wednesday that “blending in is the new standing out” with a close-up image of a pink camouflage color scheme.

At the moment, Alpine is slated to be the third team to officially unveil its 2024 contender, the A524, on February 7 as pre-season testing is scheduled to take place in Bahrain two weeks later.

The squad placed sixth in the Constructors’ Championship last season, with notable improvements in performance from McLaren and Aston Martin compared to their 2022 results.
