LCR Honda rider Alex Rins got married to his partner Alexandra recently, while in a wheelchair and with crutches.
Over the weekend, the LCR Honda racer and his partner Alexandra got married. However, he was still displaying the effects of the broken leg he sustained at Mugello and which has kept him out of competition.
It appears that despite Rins’ best attempts to recover and stand in his marriage, the Spaniard could not be without the crutches.
Rins confirmed the news of his marriage on social media: “The family that I always dreamed of having. Thanks to everyone who shared our joy and made our day so special!”
This comes as MotoGP resumes on August 6 at Silverstone after a summer break but Rins’ chances of making an appearance have already been crushed. Rins obviously won’t be competing in the race at Silverstone as his future, on the other hand, is unclear.
However, Alex Rins was not the only rider to be hitched over the weekend. VR46 rider Luca Marini who adds up as Valentino Rossi’s half-brother also got married over the weekend in Italy.
Valentino Rossi and Marco Bezzecchi who is Marini’s teammate at VR46 and also a title contender, were among the visitors in attendance.
