Andretti Global's 2025 IndyCar liveries

Andretti Global’s 2025 IndyCar liveries feature unique design and styling for each of its three cars.

The reveal took place on Monday showcasing the vibrant designs that will adorn the cars of its three drivers—Colton Herta, Kyle Kirkwood, and Marcus Ericsson— as the team aims to boost its competitive edge and brand identity in the NTT IndyCar Series.

The unveiling of Andretti Global’s 2025 IndyCar liveries was accompanied by a tribute video shared across the team’s social media platforms.

The emotional montage celebrated the team’s history, highlighting legendary moments such as Dan Wheldon’s first Indianapolis 500 victory in 2005, Dario Franchitti’s 2007 championship win with Andretti Green Racing, and Takuma Sato’s triumph at the 2017 Indy 500 with Andretti Autosport.

The tribute seamlessly transitioned into the reveal of Andretti Global’s 2025 IndyCar liveries which feature a striking blend of modern aesthetics and traditional Andretti branding with vibrant colors and dynamic patterns.

Colton Herta will pilot the No. 26 Gainbridge Honda, maintaining a familiar yellow and black color scheme that has become synonymous with his racing identity. However, this season’s design features a more pronounced yellow hue alongside a striking white accent on the car’s nose.

Herta who finished as runner-up in the previous season’s championship is poised to contend for the title once again and his updated livery reflects both continuity and evolution in his racing journey.

In contrast, Kyle Kirkwood’s No. 27 Chili’s Honda has undergone a significant transformation from its previous pink design to a bold white and red palette.

This change aligns with Kirkwood’s sponsorship from Chili’s for the season opener at St. Petersburg on March 2. As a Florida native, the 26-year old has a personal connection to the race and aims to secure victory at his home event adding an extra layer of motivation as he dons his new colors.

Marcus Ericsson’s No. 28 Bryant Heating & Cooling Honda stands out with its dramatic shift from blue and green to an eye-catching red and black livery.

The new design comes with the introduction of new sponsor Bryant while incorporating a new ‘Whatever it takes’ slogan to the sidepods which symbolizes Ericsson’s ambitions with the team after joining Andretti Global prior to the 2024 season.

Although he has yet to secure a win with Andretti, Ericsson’s past success—including his victory at the 2022 Indy 500—provides him with a solid foundation as he seeks to make his mark during the 2025 IndyCar season.

Andretti Global’s commitment to innovation is evident not only in their car designs but also in their strategic partnerships for 2025. MAPEI returns as a primary partner for Marco Andretti’s No. 98 entry and will also feature on Kirkwood’s car throughout the season.

The launch of Andretti Global’s 2025 IndyCar liveries comes at a pivotal time as they prepare for their first competitive outing of the year at St. Petersburg. The team recently participated in a private test session at Thermal Club, where they gathered valuable data and insights ahead of the upcoming races.

Marcus Ericsson emerged as the fastest driver during these tests, clocking an unofficial time of 1 minute 40.136 seconds over 60 laps. His performance indicates the team is making significant strides in performance as they head into the season.

As excitement builds for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 2, fans are eager to see how these new liveries will perform on track. The race not only marks the beginning of the IndyCar season but also serves as a crucial opportunity for each driver to establish their championship credentials early on.

Herta’s past success at St. Petersburg adds to his status as a favorite, while Kirkwood looks to capitalize on local support and Ericsson aims to demonstrate his capabilities following an impressive offseason.
