Drake loses $230k after betting on Charles Leclerc

Drake has lost over $320,000 after betting on F1 driver Charles Leclerc to win the Spanish Grand Prix.

The 35-year old Canadian rapper, has lost over $320,000 betting on Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc to win the Spanish Grand Prix.  On social media, the God’s Plan singer, announced a $300,000 wager on Leclerc.

“First F1 bet, let’s see how it goes,” the One Dance hitmaker wrote on his Instagram Story, revealing he bet $300k Canadian dollars with the cryptocurrency betting platform, Stake.

However, the Monesgague, who was leading the world championship, lost the lead after an engine failure on Sunday afternoon.

Red Bulls’ Max Verstappen whos is the reigning world champion, took victory in Barcelona, securing the championship lead over Leclerc.

While the Knife Talk singer may not have the best record in Formula One betting, he recently won $300,000 after betting on the Los Angeles Rams to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl, according to Page Six.
