Marc Marquez held off Maverick Vinales and Francesco Bagnaia to win the 2025 Qatar MotoGP. However, Vinales was handed a 16-second post-race time penalty for low tyre pressure, dropping him from 2nd to 14th.
This promoted Bagnaia to second while Franco Morbidelli rounded out the podium. Johann Zarco’s fourth-place finish marked a strong showing for Castrol Honda LCR as Gresini rookie Fermín Aldeguer impressed with a fifth-place finish, demonstrating the depth of talent in the Ducati ranks.
