Ferrari reveals new race suits for 2024 F1

Ferrari has revealed the new race suits that Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will be wearing for 2024 F1.

Ferrari has revealed their race suits for 2024 F1 that hint Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will be running an SF-24 that is primarily red, yellow and white for the season.

The team has officially unveiled the new designs for the upcoming season after releasing a teaser earlier this week featuring both drivers trying on their new outfits.

The black colour that has been featured on the race suits since 2022 has been replaced with a red design with white and yellow accents, as hinted at in the teaser. This could be a reference to the car that the Scuderia will run for the 2024 F1 season which is yet to be unveiled.

Last year, Ferrari celebrated their victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans by racing at Monza in unique race suits. Their F1 drivers were clad in outfits resembling those of their World Endurance Championship drivers.

As evidenced by the team’s early Saturday morning social media posts featuring the new race suits, the influence seems to have lingered in their 2024 outfits.

“Red, yellow, and white. What a sight!” was the caption as the fireproof under-layer of the suit features a large patch of yellow and white on the back.

Although the SF-24’s livery is currently unknown, Tifosi and Ferrari fans worldwide won’t have to wait long for the car to be unveiled as the new team outfits give an idea of what is to come.

White was the centerpiece of their special Las Vegas livery in November which was well-received by fans, having made a big appearance on the team’s championship cars in the early 2000s.

The Scuderia will unveil their 2024 F1 challenger on Tuesday, February 13. The new car will be making its track debut in the Bahrain pre-season test the following week, from February 21–23.
