Lewis Hamilton set to sign an incredible switch to Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton is slated to sign an incredible switch to Ferrari for 2025, according to several highly credible sources from the Formula 1 paddock.

Multiple rumors claim that seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton is close to making a spectacular switch from Mercedes to Ferrari for the 2025 season.

The general consensus is that Hamilton’s Mercedes contract is just for one season with an option for a second, despite the fact that he signed a new two-year extension with the Brackley team last year. This comes after Hamilton has been racing for Mercedes since 2013 and has won six World titles with them.

A potential deal between Hamilton and Ferrari may be sealed as early as this week, according to reports that their negotiations have reached an advanced stage.

For many years, the Scuderia has been pursuing Lewis Hamilton, and the Italian team has frequently shown a strong desire to sign the most successful driver in Formula 1 history.

Although Hamilton had previously shown interest in having a stint at the Maranello based squad, he later stated he intends to wrap up his career with Mercedes, with whom he had a long and successful partnership but has always presented an obstacle for him joining another team.

However, Mercedes’ performance has declined recently, while Ferrari has begun to show signs of an impressive performance. This change in the dynamics seems to have affected Hamilton’s choice, making him contemplate moving to the Scuderia.

Charles Leclerc re-signed with Ferrari last week, putting pen to paper on a new long-term contract that will presumably last until the end of 2029. Despite the fact that teammate Sainz also has a contract that expires at the end of this season, there was no mention of him.

It was believed that this was due to the fact that Sainz and Ferrari couldn’t agree on the length of his next contract as Ferrari offered just one year, whereas Sainz stated last season that he wanted three.

Lewis Hamilton will mark his 18th season in the elite division of motorsport this year. However, the British driver insists that his passion and ambition for F1 are still alive.

The arrival of Hamilton would be a huge accomplishment for Ferrari and might signal a key turning point in the team’s pursuit for championship glory although Leclerc is more than capable of bringing the world title to the House of Maranello if given the appropriate equipment.

Hamilton’s move would also mark a big change in the Formula 1 scene as the Briton’s exit from Mercedes would leave a gap in the team’s driver lineup. The Formula 1 world is waiting for an announcement that might have a long-term impact on the sport’s future as the story unfolds.
