Seven time world champion Lewis Hamilton was spotted having fun during the Formula 1 summer break accompanied by tennis star Jenny Stray Spetalen on his vacation.
After finishing third in the British Grand Prix behind his fellow Brit Lando Norris and world champion Max Verstappen, Hamilton turned in one of his best performances this season in his homeland last week. The seven-time world champion, who earned his fourth podium of the season at Silverstone, is currently fourth in the driver standings.
While Hamilton and his fellow drivers are having a two-week holiday before preparing for the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix, the Englishman has some time off from driving to have some fun.
The Mercedes driver took advantage of his vacation by traveling to Ibiza, where he was spotted unwinding on a yacht. Of course, Hamilton was not alone as he was accompanied by tennis star Jenny Stray Spetalen.
Jenny Spetalen, the daughter of Norwegian businessman ystein Stray Spetalen, is well recognized for her talents on the tennis court. The seven-time world champion was accompanied by the 20-year-old tennis professional, Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez and film director Baz Luhrmann along with his wife Catherine Martin.
Just a few days ahead of Hamilton’s outing with Spetalen, the Mercedes driver was spotted out having fun with Shakira. Their appearance after the British Grand Prix last week fanned dating rumors that were already circulating between Hamilton and the pop star.
The Sun claims that Shakira traveled to the UK just to watch Hamilton race at Silverstone and later joining him to celebrate his podium finish at an after-party in London. The pair had a good time at the hangout for celebrities Tape London and partied till the wee hours of the next day.
While Hamilton stayed out later and arrived back at his hotel at 6am, Shakira left the club about 3:30 in the morning. This comes as the mega-star couple had previously been spotted together following their initial meeting at both the Spanish and Miami Grand Prix rounds.
The pair’s party outing over the weekend only served to fuel relationship rumors. However, Hamilton’s appearance in Ibiza this week seems to have calmed them briefly.
The dating rumors come after Shakira abruptly ended her relationship with Barcelona and Spain defender Gerard Pique after 11 years together.
