NASCAR Xfinity Series gets NBC broadcast changes

Two upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series races will be aired on different networks with one moving off NBC broadcast while the other comes onto it.

The 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule has seen two events switch television networks, with NBC receiving one race that was previously scheduled to air live on USA Network and losing one to the latter network.

The most current changes have been made to the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff schedule.

After the first 14 of the 33 races on the schedule were broadcast live on either Fox or Fox Sports 1, NBC and USA Network will take over for the rest of the 2023 season. One race was aired live on Fox, while the other thirteen were broadcast on Fox Sports 1.

The Drive for the Cure 250 will take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval on Saturday October 7, and will serve as the third race in the opening round of the playoffs. It was scheduled to be broadcasted live on USA Network starting at 3:30 p.m. ET, but it is now scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Contender Boats 300, which is the second of three races scheduled for the second round of the postseason, has now been switched from NBC to USA Network. On Saturday, October 21, at 3:00 p.m. ET, it will still be aired live from Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The only Xfinity Series playoff race scheduled to be broadcast on NBC was the Contender Boats 300. Currently, that distinction belongs to the Drive for the Cure 250.
