Lando Norris was spotted in Monaco with Margarida Corceiro who is the ex-girlfriend of an Atletico Madrid player and former Chelsea FC loanee Joao Felix, ahead of last weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix.
Norris was spotted driving Margarida Corceiro in a vintage car in Monaco streets just after the Monaco Grand Prix where the McLaren driver finished ninth scoring some points for the team.
Joao Felix was recently on loan at Chelsea FC, however he has now returned to his original club Atletico Madrid because the West London team did not have any intentions for him.
Felix and Corceiro, who started dating in 2019, parted ways “some time ago.” She shared their split and the fact that they were continuing to be “happy and friends” on social media.
“Joao and I achieved goals together for a few years, in a phase of change, growth and learning,” she wrote. “Not having been together as a couple for some time, I am lucky enough to be a part of his life.
“We appreciate all the messages from those who really care about us. We are fine, happy and friends as we always were.”
However, Corceiro was compelled to refute claims that she had cheated on the Portuguese star with a member of his team. She was said to have had an affair with Pedro Porro, a teammate of Felix, but she denied the allegations in May.
Following their time spent together in Monaco, she is now closely associated with the McLaren driver. They were seen eating together in addition to being seen in the same car.
If they happen to be dating, she would have witnessed Norris’ awful race-ending experience after hitting Lewis Hamilton. Norris did remarkably well to qualify third just before colliding with Hamilton on the first lap of the Grand Prix last weekend.
Norris was consequently demoted to last and forced to pit for a new front wing. The British driver was only able to move up to 17th due to McLaren’s slow race speed, ending his pointless afternoon at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
The Monaco-based Mclaren driver will be hoping for better luck at the Canadian Grand Prix coming up this weekend in an effort to make up for his opening lap racing incident in Spain.
