Avalanche Andretti and Jake Dennis have officially announced a multi-year deal for the upcoming Formula E seasons.
Jake Dennis, who won the London E-Prix, has extended his contract with the Avalanche Andretti FE Team for a number of years. The British driver will now oversee the team’s efforts as it enters the new age of the sport.
The 25-year-old British racer will compete for Andretti for Season 9 of Formula E, which ushers in the Gen 3 era. He made his début during the 2020–21 season and has given Andretti two victories, and came in third in the drivers’ championship.
The Brit is “extremely eager” to go into the Gen3 future particularly given that the outfit is running on Porsche powertrains and the fact that he was one of the most remarkable drivers on the grid last season. Dennis has delivered since he joined Andretti’s Formula E program in 2020.
“I started my Formula E journey with Andretti and I’m excited to continue to work with the team that has continued to support my career in this series,” Dennis said.
“Season 9 with the Gen3 era is an exciting time for all teams, and for us in particular with the new relationship with Porsche supplying the powertrain.”
“I’m super motivated for next year and feel certain that with the dedication, teamwork, and investment I’ve seen over the past two years with Avalanche Andretti FE, we’ll be able to fight for wins and titles in the future.”
Roger Griffiths, the team’s principal, describes Dennis as a “formidable competitor” who he is confident will play a “integral part” in the team’s fight to the top next season.

“His determination, talent, and charisma on and off track, gives us great confidence that he will play an integral part in continuing to push us forward to compete and excel at the front of the field in the FIA Formula E World Championship.”
Keeping Jake is a great step in the right direction, according to Michael Andretti, CEO and Chairman of Andretti Autosport, who is expecting that Dennis will aid the Formula E project in growing “through season nine and beyond.”
