New 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Points Standings after the Cook Out 400 held at Martinsville Speedway.

William Byron, despite a challenging Martinsville race, has retained his lead in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series points standings with 259 points and one victory so far this season. His performance has been bolstered by six playoff points, keeping him ahead of the competition.

Kyle Larson remains in second place, trailing Byron by 17 points. Larson’s season includes one win and seven playoff points, with his top-five finish at the Cook Out 400 further solidifying his position as a championship contender.

Meanwhile, Chase Elliott holds third place in the standings with 227 points. Elliott’s consistency and skill have kept him within striking distance of his teammates, making Hendrick Motorsports a dominant force in the early stages of the season.

Christopher Bell currently sits fourth in the overall standings with 224 points after finishing second behind his Joe Gibbs teammate Denny Hamlin who claimed Martinsville race win.

Team Penske duo Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney are also making their presence felt in the standings. Logano holds ninth place with 199 points, while Blaney follows closely in tenth with 193 points.

Further down the standings, Chris Buescher and Chase Briscoe are battling for playoff spots. Buescher is currently in eleventh place with 176 points, while Briscoe sits twelfth with 169 points.

Josh Berry’s victory earlier this year has also secured him a spot in the playoffs despite being further down in the regular-season standings.
