New 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Points Standings after Sunday’s Goodyear 400 held at Darlington Raceway.

The Goodyear 400 saw Denny Hamlin secure his second consecutive win following his victory at the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway.

Despite Hamlin’s success, William Byron maintained his lead in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series points standings, thanks to a dominant performance that included leading 243 laps and winning both Stage 1 and Stage 2.

Byron’s impressive display at Darlington Raceway earned him 56 points and now holds a total of 315 points, extending his lead to 49 points over Denny Hamlin in second with 266 points.

Meanwhile, Christopher Bell who leads the series with three wins this season sits third in the standings with 263 points, just three points behind Hamlin.

Chase Elliott who finished eighth at Darlington Raceway remains in fourth place in the standings with 256 points. Tyler Reddick sits fifth with 254 points closely followed by Kyle Larson, who has 244 points following a tumultuous race which saw him suffer two crashes.

The top ten in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series points standings after Darlington also includes Ryan Blaney, Bubba Wallace, Joey Logano, and Alex Bowman. Blaney’s fifth-place finish at Darlington marked a career-best for him at the track, while Logano’s thirteenth-place finish kept him in contention for a playoff spot.

Bowman rounds out the top ten, ensuring that all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers are currently in playoff positions.
