Alex Albon’s strong showing for Williams gives him 12 points, and Kimi Antonelli, the Mercedes rookie driver, secured 10 points with a fifth-place finish. Lance Stroll, driving for Aston Martin, collected 8 points, while Nico Hulkenberg, now with the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, earned 6 points.
Meanwhile the constructors’ standings currently have McLaren at the top with 27 points, followed closely by Mercedes with 25. Red Bull Racing, despite Verstappen’s strong individual performance, trails with 18 points.
